Troon Church of Scotland is the new congregation being created by the union of Portland, St Meddan’s and Troon Old parish churches. The new church, like this website, is very much a work in progress.
So whether you’re a member of the congregation, a resident of Troon, or are just passing through, please come in: you’re most welcome!

Worship
Worship is the centre around which we build our life together. In worship we can bring the fullness of our lives to God: our joy and our pain, our laughter and our tears, our hopes and our doubts, our questions and our certainty. Jesus Christ above all others understands the complexity of our humanity and loves us all the more.
We invite you to come and worship with us this and every week.
Shared Sunday Worship
During this period of transition, the three congregations – Portland, St Meddan’s and Troon Old – are sharing worship on the second Sunday of each month, at 10:30am.
On remaining Sundays, each congregation will follow their own regular pattern of services, see below.
Portland
Sunday morning worship at 10:30am shared with Troon Old, in:
- Portland Parish Church (August, October and December 2023).
- Troon Old Parish Church (September and November 2023).
St. Meddan’s
All age worship at 9:30am Sunday in the Meadowgreen Centre, 141 Deveron Road.
Sunday morning worship at 10:30am in St Meddan’s Parish Church.
Troon Old
Sunday morning service at 10:30am shared with Portland, in:
- Portland Parish Church (August, October and December 2023).
- Troon Old Parish Church (September and November 2023).
